The Cardiff and County Club was founded in 1866 . The present building, opened in 1892, is listed as an historic building, representative as it is of late Victorian opulence.
The club does not provide accomodation.
Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket, closed collar and tie from Monday to Thursday from 10.30 am onwards. Before 10.30 am each day and also on Fridays and weekends, whilst jackets must be worn, no tie is required provided that only the top button of the collared shirt is undone. Ladies should wear smart attire.
