City Livery Club
Uniting the Livery, promoting fellowship
The Club shares the premises of the Little Ship Club on the north Thames river walk.
Club Opening Hours:
Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 9.00 – 20.00 (or to 23.00 by approval of the Restaurant Manager)
Tuesday/Friday 9.00 – 17.00
The Club is closed at weekends, Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year, and occasionally in the evening when events are being held.
Clubroom and Bar – a quiet location with comfortable seating to meet friends, have lunch or a drink or just spend time quietly. In Summer the outside terrace area makes a pleasant place to read the paper and admire the view. Newspapers are delivered daily.
Dining Room – tables from 2 up to large groups an be accommodated, and there is a Club Table for a good-
Library – the Club has a unique collection of books relating to the history of Livery Companies and the City of London. This room can also serve as a meeting or dining room for up to 50 people.
River Room – a small meeting room seating up to 8 people.
Claud Worth Room – a meeting or dining room for up to 18 people.
Cabins – these are cabin-
available at a modest price during the week (except Tuesday) and at weekends.
Members may hire meeting rooms at preferential rates.

For members wishing to hold a meeting for at least 10 people, followed or
preceded by a lunch. The ITA has details.
Members may bring guests into the Club.
Ladies are welcome as Members and as guests.
Meals and refreshments:
Breakfast (bacon rolls, toast, cereals) is available from 9.00-
and tea/coffee all day.
Lunch from 12.30 to 14.30, last orders 14.15. The lunch options are:
Afternoon tea is served between 15.00 and 16.30.
Club Usage Rules:
The Clubroom and Restaurant may not be used for formal business meetings, but modest numbers of business papers are permissible provided other Members are not disturbed. In the Clubroom, laptops may only be used between 10.00–12.00 and 15.30-
